Asus announced their intention to release a bamboo covered notebook, so far it's only available in a few countries including Taiwan. Finally Asus Korea launched their bamboo notebook in a high-end device, the U6V. Besides the obvious bamboo thingy, the U6V is powered by - - Core 2 Duo Processor - T9400
- 4GB of DDR 3 RAM,
- GeForce 9300M GS with 256MB of DDR2 VRAM
- 320GB of HDD
- DVD Super Multi or Blu-ray drive
- 12.1” WXGA LED Backlight LCD
- Wifi ABGN, and HDMI Out
